Colorado native Chuck Snow makes his own brand of dark rock with an occasional dash of country music thrown in. "Death Comes For Ella Mae Pixley" touches on the themes of loss, excess, and fading memories. Chuck comes from a long line of musicians and favors short vignettes that tell a story, but don't overstay their welcome. He has performed with Brian Setzer, Cracker, The Beat Farmers, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Robert Earl Keen, The Blasters, Western Underground, Marshall Crenshaw, and Junior Brown, among many others. His influences include Hank Snow, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, Big Star, and The Replacements. He is a former member of The S.I.D.S, The Autono, The Lazy Spacemen, The Fremont Street Preachers, The Lo-Fi Cowboys, and The Rat Bastards.
